Google Translate

How To Add Google Translate to your WordPress Site

If your site has overseas visitors you may want to add a translation service to your site. This can be done quickly and easily using Google Translate:

  1. Go to Google Translate
  2. Select your required options from the 3 steps
  3. Copy the code from the box in Step 4
  4. On your site, add a Text Widget where you would like the options to appear
  5. Paste the code you copied in Step 3 into the Text Widget

And that’s it. We’ve been testing using a Text Widget in the Footer and using the Automatic option – that way the translate tool does not appear unless you use any other language apart from English.
